Research, Production, Quality Control
At Biotics Research Corporation, research is more than a word in a corporate name. It is a way of life. For example, our phytochemical research team is currently investigating the antioxidant activity of botanical compounds. While many other nutritional companies’ research is limited to literature review, Biotics Research develops new methods of accurate analysis, isolates new compounds, assists in clinical research and measures the benefits of new delivery systems.
At Biotics Research we manufacture our own products on-site, allowing complete production control. Products are produced in isolated rooms to prevent cross-contamination. Our QC laboratory staff -- using modern analytical methods such as HPLC, atomic absorption, and UV/VIS spectroscopy -- tests and approves raw materials, monitors all production processes, and tests all finished products.
Over two decades ago, Biotics Research began developing a method of using living plant cells as a tableting base, rich in antioxidants, that assists tablet dissolution. To avoid typical allergens such as yeast, wheat, cornstarch, and sugars, Biotics cultures non-soy legumes by applying intensive farming techniques. Culture conditions (pH, nutrient concentration, temperature, and light) are rigidly controlled to assure reproducible high quality. Cultures are dehydrated at low heat to preserve enzymes and phytochemical activity. All of Biotics’ vegetable cultures are whole foods uncooked and non-radiated. They contain all of the normal constituents of whole, raw foods including enzymes, vitamins, minerals, microflora, and phytochemicals.
